Login Securely

Security and protection are vital features when it comes to banking. This new security feature will integrate stronger cybersecurity protection to detect fraud while ensuring you have a positive online banking experience.

Every time you login to Online Banking, the new security feature will not only confirm your credentials but also the device you are using. If the system detects a new device or suspicious activity, you may be asked to further verify your identity via a one-time passcode sent to your phone. Your enrollment in this new security feature is required.

Simple Set Up

All that is needed for future identity verification is a phone number.

When you log into your Online Banking account through our website or Mobile Banking app, you will be asked to set up your phone number and choose your preferred delivery method – text message or phone call. You will then receive a text message or phone call containing a passcode. Enter this passcode during log-in to complete your phone number verification. Once entered, you will be logged into Online Banking.

  • ADDITIONAL LAYER OF SECURITY

  • REPLACES SECURITY CHALLENGE QUESTIONS
  • BOTH ONLINE AND MOBILE BANKING
  • NO COST FOR THIS EXTRA PROTECTION

We are always looking for ways to improve the security of our digital banking services.

How does this new security feature work?

This additional layer of protection confirms not only your credentials but also the device you are using during login. If the system detects a new device or suspicious activity, you may be asked to verify your identity with a one-time passcode sent to your phone.

How do I set this up for my PremierBank personal online and mobile banking accounts?

Set up is simple. When you log in to Online Banking through our website or Mobile Banking app, you will be asked to set up a verification phone number and choose a preferred delivery method – text message or phone call. You will then receive a text message or phone call containing a passcode. You will then need to enter this passcode during login to complete the phone number verification. Once entered, you will be logged in to Online Banking.

Is this required?

Yes, enrollment in this new security process is required.

Does this replace my current security challenge questions?

Yes, this new security process will replace your current security challenge questions.

Why is this change needed?

Cybercriminals are constantly developing new methods to steal personal data and are getting more sophisticated with each passing day. We’ve chosen to adapt and evolve to stay one step ahead of those threats.

How will this feature work in the future?

Once set up, this new security feature will only be activated if it detects a login attempt that falls outside of how you typically log in. When this happens, you will be prompted to enter a passcode during login. The passcode will be sent to the phone number set up previously using your preferred delivery method. You will then need to enter the passcode to complete the login.

Does this affect my personal Mobile Banking account?

Yes, the same new security setup and process will apply to logging in via our Mobile Banking app.

Can I change my verification phone number from the Mobile Banking app after I've enrolled?

To change a previously established verification phone number, you will need to access Online Banking via our website to update your verification phone number. Alternatively, a personal banker can assist you at any location, or call 920-563-6616 and our team will be happy to assist.

Is there a cost associated with this?

There is no cost for this additional protection. It is part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our account holders and their accounts safe and secure.
