Fort Atkinson, WI– PremierBank is pleased to announce that Wendy Kundert, Senior Operations Specialist, has earned the Accredited Automated Clearing House Professional (AAP) designation. This professional credential signifies competency and expertise in electronic payments. An AAP possesses comprehensive knowledge in the various areas of ACH, a deep understanding of and experience in one or more specific ACH subjects, and broad knowledge of concepts that relate to the payments system as a whole.
According to the National American Clearing House Association (NACHA), employing AAPs demonstrates a financial institution’s commitment to rules and regulatory compliance, risk management, and operations practices to bank regulators, examiners, other financial institutions, and banking customers.
Kim Gillmore, AAP, Vice President, Cashier and Bank Operations Officer said, “We congratulate Wendy on this professional achievement! Earning this designation validates her extensive experience and knowledge in the paperless sector of payments.” Kundert joined PremierBank nearly three decades ago and has worked in a variety of capacities over her 27 years of service to the bank. AAPs must pass a rigorous exam to demonstrate their mastery of content material regarding electronic payments, and then invest in continuing education in order to keep their AAP status.
