Fort Atkinson, WI – PremierBank and Realty Executives Premier will together host a community blood drive with the American Red Cross on Wednesday, April 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Community Room at PremierBank’s Janesville branch, located at 1400 Black Ridge Road. To schedule an appointment, sign up online at RedCrossBlood.org with sponsor code ‘PremierBankWI’, or call 1-800-733-2767. Walk-ins are also welcomed. With someone in the U.S. needing blood every two seconds, donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, B negative, and A negative. According to the Red Cross, type O negative is the universal blood type that can be safely transfused to anyone and is often used to treat trauma patients. All donors will receive a Jimmy John’s sandwich, snacks, and a $10 gift card to a merchant of their choice, plus a chance to win a $7,000 prize. PremierBank and Realty Executive Premier invite all eligible donors to join in the selfless act of giving blood to help save lives.
